The Vitamin Option

If you have endometriosis, you will have a surgeon, sooner or later. For some reason, most of the doctors do not feel that vitamins are helpful to the patient suffering with this disease.
When you have endometriosis, there are so many things going on in your body.  You have scarring and inflammation that is being fueled by higher than normal estrogen levels.

The best thing to start with, if you haven't done this already, is to find out which food are filled with high amounts of estrogen. I was surprised when I did this.  Soy, for example which is supposed to be excellent for women, is NOT good for women with endometriosis.

In addition there are vitamins you can take, that will help with the scar tissue and even hormone levels. If you are on any medications, be sure to always tell your pharmacist which vitamins you are taking. There are certain pills that you cannot take with certain vitamins. Either the effect will be canceled out, or you can become violently ill.

There is an excellent website for sufferers with endometriosis. The website is

http://www.endo-resolved.com/

There is support here as well and options from the Endometriosis Association that you may wish to look into.
